New Castle Senior High School, located on Lincoln Avenue in New Castle, Pennsylvania, has a rich history dating back to the early 20th century. The original high school building was constructed starting in 1910 and opened in 1911, designed by the local firm W.G. Eckles. It was built to accommodate the city’s growing population and the limitations of the older 1879 facility. The high school served the community for over 90 years until it closed in 2003.
