George Washington Junior High School
George Washington Junior High School opened in New Castle, Pennsylvania, in September 1928. Designed by architect A.L. Thayer and located on Euclid Avenue in the North Hill neighborhood, the school was named for the first president in 1927 and formally dedicated on February 22, 1929. For over 50 years, it served students in grades 7
